Ryudo Uzaki, born Shuji Kimura on February 23, 1946, is a Japanese singer, composer, actor, entertainer, and film director. Originally from Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, he became known as a prominent figure in music as a member of the Down Town Boogie-Woogie Band, which was recognized as one of the leading Japanese rock music bands of the 1970s. In addition to his musical career, he has worked extensively in film and television as an actor and composer. His acting credits include appearances in films such as The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Zen, and Himitsu. In his personal life, he is married to lyricist and actress Yoko Aki.
