Born in Abilene, Texas, on September 21, 1987, he is the son of Ray Guzman, who is Mexican, and Lisa Hudson, whose native state is California and who has English, Scottish, German, French, and Dutch ancestry. He has a younger brother named Steven and grew up in Sacramento, California, attending Sierra College. Before beginning his acting career, Guzman worked as a model. He is best known for portraying Sean Asa in the fourth installment of the Step Up series, specifically Step Up Revolution in 2012, which was his first dance role despite having no formal prior dance training.
