Ran Ito, also known as Ran Itô, is a Japanese actress born on January 13, 1955, in Kichijoji, Musashino, Tokyo, Japan. She is recognized in the entertainment industry with thirty-eight known credits for acting. Before her acting career, she was a member of the 1970s idol group Candies, serving as the leading member who handled the solo parts for most of their hit songs. In her film career, she won the award for best supporting actress at the second Yokohama Film Festival for her work in the film Disciples of Hippocrates. In her personal life, she is married to Mizutani Yutaka, a prominent actor in Japan.
