Philip Rosenthal is an American television writer and producer. He was born in Queens, New York in 1960. Rosenthal is known for creating, writing, and executive producing the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. The show was co-produced by Ray Romano and based on Romano's comedy material. Rosenthal's wife, Monica Horan, played a role in the series. He and Romano decided to retire the series over the objections of the other cast members. Rosenthal has written for numerous projects, with over 40 known credits.
