Parker Christian Posey is an American actress and musician born on November 8, 1968, in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the recipient of a Golden Globe Award nomination, a Satellite Award nomination, and two Independent Spirit Award nominations. Posey made her film debut in the 1993 movie Joey Breaker. Following small roles in Coneheads and the cult classic Dazed and Confused in 1993, she earned the label Queen of the Indies for starring in numerous independent films throughout the 1990s. Her film appearances from that decade include Sleep with Me in 1994, Frisk, Party Girl, The Doom Generation, and Kicking and Screaming in 1995, The Daytrippers in 1996, and Henry Fool, The House of Yes, and Clockwatchers in 1997.
