Biography
Osman Sonant is a Turkish actor born on 1 March 1979 in Istanbul, Turkey. He started his career in 1997 at Bahçelievler Municipal Theatre and continued at Ortaoyuncular Nöbetçi Theatre run by Ferhan Şensoy in 1998. Sonant enrolled in Istanbul University State Conservatory and graduated with a degree in stage arts studies. He has appeared in various plays, movies, and TV series, including a leading role in Onur Ünlü's 2015 film. Sonant received the Best Supporting Actor award at the 16th Golden Boll Film Festival in 2009 for his role in Pandora'nın Kutusu. Since 2011, he has played the character of Yavuz in the surreal comedy series Leyla ile Mecnun.
