Oleg Borisov was a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor. Born on November 8, 1929, in Ivanovskaya oblast, RSFSR, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio in 1951. Borisov was an actor at the Lesya Ukrainka Russian Drama Theater in Kiev from 1951 to 1964, and later at the Gorky State Academic Drama Theater in Leningrad from 1964. He also worked at the Moscow Art Theater from 1983 to 1989, and at the Soviet Army Theater from 1989 to 1990. Borisov was honored with several titles, including Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1963, People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1974, and People's Artist of the USSR in 1978.
