Biography
Rena Nounen is a Japanese actress and fashion model. She debuted as a fashion model in 2006. In 2012, she was selected as the eleventh image character for Calpis and chosen from an audition of 1953 women to play a lead role in the NHK drama series Amachan. She played a high school girl who decides to become an ama, or female shell diver, as well as an idol, in the 2013 NHK Asadora Amachan. The series was a rating success, earning an average 20.6% rating over its span, second amongst Asadora in the last decade.
