Rizos began his professional career with Anthropoi, anthropoi in 1948 at the Metropolitan Theatre. In 1959, he founded his own company, which he co-ran starting in 1961 with Vasilis Avlonitis and Georgia Vasileiadou. Throughout his theatrical career, he performed in various comedies in Greece and Germany to entertain immigrant Greeks abroad. In 1986, he appeared at the Astor Theatre on Stadiou Street, a venue he managed from its artistic performances until 1990. In total, Rizos worked as a theatrical entrepreneur for 27 years.
