Nikos Kouros was a Greek actor born in Chalkida, Euboea, Greece on March 20, 1928, and he passed away in Athens on October 24, 2018, at the age of 90. He studied law at the University of Athens, piano and singing at the Athens Conservatory, and theatre at the drama school of the Hellenic Conservatory. He made his initial theatre appearance in 1957 with the Anna Lori and Alki Papas troupe at the Dionysia theatre in Kallithea. He spent several years as a member of the Art Theatre of Karolos Koun before moving to other troupes. In addition to acting in theatre, cinema, and television, he worked as a political commentator and announcer for theatrical and literary shows at the National Broadcasting Corporation from 1954 to 1957, and engaged in directing and literature.
