Nicole Courcel was a French actress born on October 21, 1931, in Saint-Cloud, a western suburb of Paris. She appeared in 43 films between 1947 and 1979. Courcel began her career as an extra in a few films before winning a major role in Rendez-vous de juillet in 1949. She is best known for her role in Serge Bourguignon's Sundays and Cybele in 1962. Courcel also worked in television, appearing in different television films and miniseries from 1970 until 2004. She had notable parts in several films, including La Marie du port. Courcel passed away on June 25, 2016, at the age of 84.
