Biography
Nicole Courcel was a French actress who achieved popularity through the 1950s and 1960s. Born Nicole Marie Jeanne Andrieu on 21 October 1931 in Saint-Cloud, she appeared in 43 films between 1947 and 1979. She is best known for her role in Serge Bourguignon's Sundays and Cybele. Courcel turned to television in 1970, working in television films and miniseries until 2004. She had notable parts in films including La Marie du port and Rendez-vous de juillet, where she won a major role alongside Brigitte Auber. Nicole Courcel died on 25 June 2016.
