Nadia Chan Chung-Ling, whose stage name is written in Chinese characters, was born in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong on January 21, 1971. Her parents are Chinese Ethnic Indonesian and Indonesian Chinese, and her family moved to Hong Kong when she was three years old. Chan gained popularity among the younger generation by hosting many children's shows and singing children's songs. As an actress known for her work in film and television, she has starred in Hong Kong, Singaporean, and mainland Chinese television serials, most notably for her roles in TVB series.
