Biography
Milan Peschel is a German actor and director. He was born in East Berlin to a teacher and a fashion journalist, growing up in the city districts of Lichtenberg and Friedrichshain. From 1984 to 1986, he completed an apprenticeship as a theater carpenter at the German State Opera Berlin, and subsequently worked as a stage technician at the Volksbühne Berlin until 1991. He then studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts from 1991 to 1995. From 1997 to 2008, Peschel was a member of the ensemble at the Volksbühne Berlin, appearing in numerous productions directed by Frank Castorf and Dimiter Gotscheff. He has appeared in more than fifty films since 1999 and has known credits in acting.
