Mike Werb is an American screenwriter and Los Angeles native who was born on June 21, 1977. He attended Stanford and graduated from the UCLA Film School. His writing credits include Face/Off, The Mask, and the story for Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and he is the creator of Unnatural History. His frequent collaborator is Michael Colleary, with whom he won a Saturn Award for Best Writing for Face/Off in 1998. The duo also worked on projects titled Top Ten, Stretch Armstrong, and King's Ransom, with the latter intended for director John Woo, though none of those three films were produced.
