Michael Wildman is an English actor born on 10 June 1975 in Enfield, Middlesex, England. He played the centaur Magorian in the film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Before that role he performed in West End productions and appeared in episode 5 of the British sitcom Extras alongside Samuel L. Jackson, as well as originating the character Marc MacKenzie in the television series Family Affairs. From August 2019 to October 2022 he portrayed Al Chapman on the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Wildman lives in Oxfordshire with his wife and son; he is married to New Zealand‑born Welsh actress Ceri Ann Gregory.
