Michael Angarano, born December 3, 1987, in Brooklyn, New York City, is an American actor, director, and producer. He first gained attention for his role in the film Music of the Heart (1999) and the television series Cover Me (2000–2001). He later portrayed Elliott in the sitcom Will & Grace. His film work includes Sky High (2005), The Forbidden Kingdom (2008), Haywire (2011), The English Teacher (2013) and Sun Dogs (2017). On television he appeared in I’m Dying Up Here (2017–2018) and This Is Us, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2019.
