Biography

Mercedes Cabral is a Filipino actress born on August 10, 1986. She is known for her work in Philippine arthouse and independent films, particularly those directed by Brillante Mendoza. Her notable films include Serbis, Kinatay, Captive, and Thy Womb. She has also appeared in the South Korean film Thirst, directed by Park Chan-wook. In addition to her film work, Cabral has appeared in the 2016 short film SUPOT by Phil Giordano, which won an award. In 2021, she appeared in Huwag Kang Mangamba, a role in which she played the main antagonist Agatha, a wicked stepmother of Joy, played by Francine Diaz.
