Megan Williams was an Australian actress and singer born on September 11, 1956, in London, England, to parents David and Chin Yu Williams. At six months old, she appeared in a minor television role as an abandoned baby on The Adventures of Robin Hood in 1957. Her family later moved to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, where she pursued her acting career. Williams played a continuing role as Alice Sullivan in the television drama The Sullivans and won a Logie Award for her work in the 1985 production Anzacs. She underwent an operation for breast cancer in 1997, and the disease was diagnosed again in December 1999. Williams died on April 17, 2000, at the age of forty-three.
