Biography

Meg Tilly is a Canadian-American actress and novelist. Born Margaret Elizabeth Chan on February 14, 1960, she is the younger sister of actress Jennifer Tilly. Tilly won a Golden Globe Award for her role in the 1985 film Agnes of God, and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also won the 2013 Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in the television series Bomb Girls, which aired from 2012 to 2013. In addition to her acting career, Tilly is a published novelist, with six novels to her credit, including Porcupine, a finalist for the Sheila A. Egoff Children's Literature Prize.
