Maulik Navin Pancholy is an American actor born on January 18, 1974. He is best known for several television roles, including Jonathan on 30 Rock, Baljeet Tjinder in Phineas and Ferb, Neal in the first season of Whitney, and characters named Sanjay Patel in both Weeds and Sanjay and Craig. In addition to his acting career, he is an author. His debut novel, The Best at It, published by Balzer + Bray and HarperCollins, focuses on a gay, Indian American boy coming into his own.
