Matsumoto Kōshirō X is a Japanese kabuki actor born on January 8, 1973, in Tokyo, Japan, with the real name Terumasa Fujima. He has also acted in movies, including April Story in 1998, Ashura in 2005, and The Samurai I Loved in 2005. His stage names include Matsumoto Kōshirō X, Ichikawa Somegorō VII, and Matsumoto Kintarō III, and he has also used the other name Matsumoto Kinshō. In 1978, he made his first appearance on stage at the Kabukiza and received the name of Matsumoto Kintarō III. In October 1981, he participated in a great name-taking ceremony at the Kabukiza for three generations of actors belonging to the Kōraiya guild, known as Kōraiya Sandai Shūmei.
