Mari Shirato is a Japanese actress born on December 24, 1958, in Iizuka, Fukuoka, Japan. Throughout her career, she has appeared in various film and television productions. Her filmography includes roles in Mermaid Legend, released in 1984, and the 1979 production Edo no kiba. Additional credits include appearances in Kaseifu wa mita! 10, which aired in 1992, and the 2004 production Bô san Bengoshi Gôda Muei 2: Hikoku seki ni tatsu onna. For her work in film, Shirato received the Best Actress award at the 6th Yokohama Film Festival. She is also recognized by her Japanese name, 白都真理.
