In 2010, she participated in the "Extreme Talent Search" competition of the Kia X GAMES Asian Extreme Sports Championship and entered the top ten finals. Chen also participated in the WCG Showgirl selection of the competitive game "Blood Team" in 2011 and won the championship. She assisted in the WCG2011 China finals. Maggie Chen has worked as a showgirl at Tencent's booth and has starred in the Republic of China drama "The Great Master".
