Orianna Magaly Solier Romero, born on June 11, 1986, in Huanta, Ayacucho, Peru, is a Peruvian actress, singer, and songwriter. Born into a Quechua family, she speaks both Spanish and the indigenous language of Quechua, and she has publicly spoken about the importance of supporting indigenous language, traditions, and culture. As an actress, she starred in the Peruvian film Madeinusa and later appeared in La teta humana, also known as The Milk of Sorrow, which won the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009. Her acting credits also include the film Magallanes. Outside of her acting career, she has released two albums as a singer-songwriter, titled Warmi in 2009 and Coca Quintucha in 2015, and she was named an Artist of Peace by UNESCO in 2017.
