He first came to prominence in 2007 by starring in the teen dramedy Grange Hill. He is best known for portraying Jonah Kirby on the BBC One drama Waterloo Road. In 2009, he had a recurring role on the British soap opera Coronation Street as Ben Richardson. In 2011, he competed in the rebooted series of Celebrity Big Brother, and in 2012, he released his debut single, Dance With You. Additionally, he was set to play the lead in the potential series Supernatural: Bloodlines, which is a spin-off.
