Linda Melson Harrison is an American television and film actress born on July 26, 1945, in Berlin, Maryland, USA. She is best remembered for playing the role of Nova alongside co-star Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Following appearances in many films, she made a cameo in the 2001 film version of Planet of the Apes directed by Tim Burton. She retired from acting for family reasons before returning to co-star in the 2018 film Midnight Massacre, which is a modern-day version of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar directed by Travis Bowen.
