Biography

Leslie Charles Maguire was an English actor, writer, and musician born on 27 December 1941 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England. He was a principal member of the Merseybeat band Gerry and the Pacemakers from 1961 to 1966. As an actor, his screen credits include appearances in the 1964 film Ferry Cross the Mersey and the 1983 production Ready Steady Go, Volume 1. He is also credited for his work on the 2007 film Zodiac. Leslie Maguire died on 25 November 2023.
