Kristopher Ian Mochrie is an English actor born on October 24, 1984, in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom. He has been acting since the age of seven. He studied Business at St Edward's College in Liverpool and received his training at the Manchester School of Acting. Mochrie is known for portraying Lee Posner in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Jez in the BBC drama series Ordinary Lies, and Ali Gordon in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside, where he played a member of the newly introduced Gordon family from his casting in 2002 until his departure aired in July 2003. His additional television credits include appearances in Heartbeat in 2004, as well as Ideal, Doctors, and Girls in Love in 2005.
