Kirk Thomas Cameron is an American actor born on October 12, 1970, in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California, USA. He is best known for his role as Mike Seaver on the television situation comedy Growing Pains, which aired from 1985 to 1992, along with several other television and film appearances as a child actor. During the 1980s and 1990s, he appeared in dozens of television shows and the films Like Father Like Son and Listen to Me. In his later career, he portrayed Cameron Buck Williams in the Left Behind film series and Caleb Holt in the 2008 drama film Fireproof. Additionally, Cameron is an active Christian evangelist who partners with Ray Comfort in the evangelical ministry The Way of the Master.
