Kim Soo-ro, born Sang-Joong Kim on May 7, 1970, in Seoul, South Korea, is a prominent South Korean actor. He studied theater at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and Dongguk University before joining the Mokwha Repertory Company. Kim made his film debut in 1993 with a minor role in Two Cops and gained recognition as a scene-stealing supporting actor, particularly in comedies like The Foul King and Hi!. Notable works include Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004), God of Study (2010), and A Gentleman's Dignity (2012). He married Lee Kyung Hwa, his longtime girlfriend, in 2006. Kim has also been involved in theater production, including work on Maxim Gorky's The Lower Depths in 2009.
