Biography

Kim Director is an American actress. She is known for her work in films directed by Spike Lee, including Inside Man, and in the Netflix series She's Gotta Have It. Director also played the character Shay in the HBO series The Deuce, which starred James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The Deuce was created by David Simon and George Pelecanos. Director was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied Acting and Music Theater.
