Kiawentiio, born Kiawenti:io Tarbell on April 28, 2006, is a Mohawk Canadian actress, singer, and artist. A member of the Mohawk Nation of Akwesasne, she was raised on Cornwall Island in Akwesasne, Ontario, Canada. Her name, which translates to Nice Morning and is pronounced Gya-wuhn-dee-yo, is the mononym by which she is widely known professionally. She received her education at the Akwesasne Freedom School and the Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School. As a performer, she is recognized for her work in both film and television, drawing upon her Indigenous heritage throughout her career in the entertainment industry.
