Ki Joo-bong is a South Korean actor born on September 3, 1955. He majored in film and theatre from Sorabol Art University, which is now part of Chung-Ang University. He made his debut in 1977 by establishing the theater company 76 alongside his brother Ki Guk-seo, who is also an actor and stage director. Although they did not earn a lot of money initially, Ki returned to the stage after trying other unsuccessful jobs following his marriage. Since the late 1990s, he has begun to appear in movies.
