Kerry Armstrong is an Australian actress and author born on January 3, 1958, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Also known as Kerry Michelle Armstrong, she began her television career as a weather girl in Melbourne before pursuing acting training in Melbourne and New York. She lived in the United States from 1981 to 1987, during which time she spent one year on the American soap opera Dynasty playing Elena Duchess of Branagh. Armstrong returned to Australia in 1987 following the death of her grandmother and resumed acting in Australian television series in the early 1990s, appearing in Police Rescue, Ocean Girl, Come In Spinner, All Together Now, and Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left. In 1991, she received an AFI award nomination for Best Actress for her role in the film Hunting.
