Joyce Taylor, born Joyce Crowder on September 14, 1937, in Taylorville, Illinois, is an American actress known for her work in movies and television series primarily during the 1950s and 1960s. She began singing in amateur shows at the age of ten and turned professional at age 15 by signing with Mercury Records. During the 1950s, she was under contract to Howard Hughes at RKO, where she secured a small part in the 1956 film Beyond a Reasonable Doubt. Following the conclusion of her contract, she later became a regular cast member on the television science fiction and adventure series Men Into Space, which aired in 1959, and went on to appear in numerous other television programs.
