Biography

Jonathan Dümcke (born March 9, 1991, in Potsdam; died August 5, 2013, in Italy) was a German actor.

Jonathan Dümcke was the son of television producer Wolfgang Dümcke and Martina Dümcke-Holling (née Holling). He began his acting career in 2000 in the television series Max & Lisa.

He became known to a wider audience through the role of Tommy in the television series Bloch, in which he appeared from 2002 to 2012. In 2006, he played one of the lead roles in the feature film TKKG – Das Geheimnis um die rätselhafte Mind-Machine. Additionally, Dümcke was also active as a stage actor.

Jonathan Dümcke was born with a complex congenital heart defect and underwent four heart surgeries between 1991 and his death. He died on August 5, 2013, at the age of 22, while traveling in Italy, as a result of his heart condition.
