Biography
Joe Frazier was an actor who appeared in the film Rocky. He was also a professional boxer known for his strength and formidable left hand. Frazier was born on January 12, 1944, and was nicknamed Smokin' Joe. He competed as a boxer from 1965 to 1981 and was the first boxer to defeat Muhammad Ali. Frazier reigned as the undisputed heavyweight champion in 1970 and won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics as an amateur. He passed away on November 7, 2011.
