Jodie Whittaker is an English actress born on 17 June 1982 in Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, UK. She is known for her roles in television shows such as Broadchurch and Doctor Who. Whittaker made her feature film debut in the 2006 film Venus, which earned her nominations for British Independent Film Awards and Satellite Awards. She has also appeared in the science fiction film Attack the Block and the Black Mirror episode "The Entire History of You". Whittaker has a total of 83 acting credits.
