Biography
Jim Reardon is an American screenwriter, director, and animator born on June 9, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona. While attending the California Institute of Arts, he made the 1986 student film Bring Me The Head of Charlie Brown, which became a cult classic and later gained revived interest through YouTube. John Kricfalusi hired him as a writer on the cartoon series Mighty Mouse—The New Adventures. Reardon subsequently wrote episodes for the first season of Tiny Toon Adventures. In 1990, he was hired as an animation director for The Simpsons and later served as supervising director. He subsequently left the staff to work on the Pixar film WALL-E and has also worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios on films including Wreck-It Ralph.
