Jerry Yan, whose birth name is Liao Yangzhen and who is also known as Yan Chengxu, is a Taiwanese actor and singer born on January 1, 1977, in Taoyuan, Taiwan. He rose to fame as a member of the group F4, which included Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu, and Ken Chu, and released three studio albums together. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Daoming Si in the Taiwanese dramas Meteor Garden and Meteor Garden II. In addition to his work with F4, he pursued a solo career in music and acting. In 2004, he released his debut solo album titled Jerry for You, which featured the track One Meter, a song that ranked on Hit Fm Taiwan.
