Jennifer Nettles is an American country music singer, songwriter, and actress who was born on September 12, 1974, in Douglas, Georgia. She is best known as the lead vocalist of the duo Sugarland alongside Kristian Bush. Prior to her work with Sugarland, she fronted the Atlanta-based bands Soul Miner's Daughter and the Jennifer Nettles Band. She also charted as a duet partner on the country version of the rock band Bon Jovi's 2006 single Who Says You Can't Go Home, which became a number-one hit on the Billboard country chart.
