Jennifer Ehle, born December 29, 1969, is an Anglo-American actress known for her award-winning performances across stage, film, and television. She received widespread acclaim for portraying Elizabeth Bennet in the 1995 BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice, earning her a BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress. Her stage work includes two Tony Award wins for performances in Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing (2000) and The Coast of Utopia (2007). Ehle's film roles include appearances in The King's Speech (2010), Zero Dark Thirty (2012), and Fifty Shades of Grey (2015). She has also acted in television series such as The Looming Tower (2018) and The Good Fight (2022). Ehle is the daughter of actress Rosemary Harris and author John Ehle.
