Jake Scott is a British film director born on August 17, 1965, in London, England. He works primarily in the field of music videos, producing most of his work under the Ridley Scott Associates banner or its music video subdivision, Black Dog Films. He has directed music videos for numerous artists, including Soundgarden, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bush, Live, Blind Melon, Tori Amos, Radiohead, Lily Allen, Oasis, The Supernaturals, The Strokes, The Verve, R.E.M., U2, and George Michael. In addition to his music video work, he has directed several feature films, which include Plunkett and MacLeane released in 1999 and Welcome to the Rileys released in 2010. He is the eldest son of director and RSA owner Ridley Scott.
