Biography

Ishaan Khatter is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. Born to actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem, he is the half-brother of actor Shahid Kapoor. Khatter made his initial screen appearance as a child in the 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!. He secured his first leading role in the 2017 drama Beyond the Clouds, directed by Majid Majidi. His portrayal of a drug dealer in this film earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Khatter achieved commercial success with the 2018 romantic drama Dhadak. Additionally, he starred in the 2020 British miniseries A Suitable Boy. He continues to work as an actor within the film industry.
