Biography

Ingrid Thulin was a Swedish film actress born on 27 January 1926. She was the daughter of Nanna and Adam Thulin, a fisherman. Thulin took ballet lessons as a girl and was accepted by The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm in 1948. She worked regularly with Ingmar Bergman, appearing in several of his films. Thulin shared the Best Actress award at the 1958 Cannes Film Festival. She died on 7 January 2004.
