Her early work includes appearing as Titus in the 1999 film Rembrandt at the age of one. Obbeek gained recognition for her starring roles in Dutch cinema, including the film Briefgeheim, also known as The Secret Letter, in 2010. In 2012, she starred as Akkie in the film Cool Kids Don't Cry, a role that earned her a Rembrandt Award nomination for Best Dutch Actress.
