Hala Sedky George Younan was born on June 15, 1959, in Cairo, Egypt. She earned her degree in literature in 1981 and excelled at sports as a champion swimmer. After spending time in the United States during her childhood, she began her artistic career upon her return to Egypt. Her role in the television series Rihlat Million drew attention to her, and she has since diversified her roles from comedies to tragedies. Among the plays she has starred in are Al Wada’a ya Bakawat, 727, Al Sa’aydah Wasaloo, Matloub Tagneed, Izay Al Sihha, and Bashweesh. Her television productions include Arabesque and Al Ragol wa Al Lail.
