Hacène Benzerari is an Algerian actor and screenwriter born in 1946 in Constantine, Algeria. He is married to actress Nora Benzerari. Before his career in cinema, he worked as a French teacher and a production manager at the Algerian television station of Constantine, known as ENTV. He began his acting career in the 1971 film Patrouille à l'Est, directed by Amar Laskri. He subsequently appeared in the 1975 film Chronique Des Années De Braise by Mohammed Lakhdar-Hamina. His filmography includes numerous Algerian productions for both television and cinema, such as the series Nass Mlah City in 2002, Bab El Web in 2005, A Story About Land in 2015, and The Bureau of Legends in 2015.
