George Clayton Johnson was an American science fiction writer. He co-wrote the novel Logan's Run, which served as the basis for a 1976 film. Johnson also wrote television scripts for The Twilight Zone and the first telecast episode of Star Trek. Additionally, he wrote the story and screenplay for the 1960 film Ocean's 11 and its 2001 remake. Johnson was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA, on July 10, 1929.
