Biography
Gen Hoshino is a Japanese singer-songwriter, musician, actor, and writer. Born on January 28, 1981, he made his movie debut in Lee Sang-il's adaptation of the Ryū Murakami novel 69. Prior to this, Hoshino acted in various television dramas and stage plays. He also acted in the stage play Blindly in Love, alongside Kaho, and the Sion Sono film Why Don't You Play in Hell. In addition to acting, Hoshino has worked as a voice actor, voicing Buddha in the OVA adaptation of Saint Young Men, and provided a theme song for its theatrical version.
